Carlos Eduardo Rocha Released By UFC

Carlos Eduardo Rocha has reportedly been released by the UFC. Rocha revealed that he was released from the promotion following two straight losses, including a unanimous decision loss to Mike Pierce at UFC on F/X 3 a few weeks ago.

Rocha told Tatame that Pierce's strategy cost him his job, saying, "I went there to fight MMA and he wants to win by points… This is bullshit… I had good performances and even so I was cut off. I didn't expect this. … He didn't attack me on the clinch, he didn't hit me or let me hit him. That's not MMA."
