Featherweight champion Conor McGregor (11-2) will defend against challenger Jim Alers (8-1) at Cage Warriors Fight Night 7.
The show will also have the finale of the middleweight tournament with Victor Cheng (9-2) vs. Pavel Kusch (13-2). It takes place on September 1 with the main card streaming on MMA Junkie. It will take place at the New Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan. The preliminary bouts will stream on Facebook.
McGregor won the title with a submission over Dave Hill in the second round at Cage Warriors 47 in Ireland. He has now won seven fights in a row by stoppage, with five in the first round. He's also defeated the likes of Aaron Jahnsen and Steve O'Keefe. Alers is currently on a four fight win streak after getting a second round TKO on Matteus Lahdesmaki at Cage Warriors Fight Night 6. All of his wins have been via stoppage with six by submission.
Cheng and Kusch will only fight if Cheng is healed in time from his injury, which has already delayed the bout. If he is not healed, the winner of Chris Fields vs John Phillips at Cage Warriors 48 next week will get his spot. The winner will get the middleweight championship.
