MAIN CARD MATCHES:

Welterweight bout: Johnny Buck (10-8) vs. Ricky Rainey (3-0)

ROUND ONE Both fighters exchange right hands. Buck misses with a leg kick. He comes forward throwing lots of leather and takes Rainey down. They scramble and get back to their feet. Buck appears to be bleeding from his face. Buck presses Rainey against the fence. Rainey defends with shots to the body. They exchange knees to the body. Buck tries for a single leg. Rainey defends the whole way forcing Buck to let go and reset. Rainey opens up and nearly KO's Buck. Buck tries for another desperation takedown. Rainey elbows Buck in the ear several times. Buck is hanging on to the leg, take punishment. Rainey hammers on him to end the round.

SCORECARD: Rainey 10-9

ROUND TWO They start off pawing at one another. Buck lands a few counter rights. He comes forward and clinches. Rainey lands a high knee. Rainey lands a hard one square on the jaw and BUCK CLOBBERS HIM! He dives into full mount and finishes him off with punches. Rainey is out cold! Buck Nasty indeed!

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Johnny Buck "Nasty" by KO at 1:32 of round 2.

Lightweight bout: Shane "The Rabid Wolverine" Crenshaw (3-0) vs. Jason "The Ronin" Hicks (4-0)

ROUND ONE Crenshaw circles on the outside and looks for a way in. He jumps in, hits Hicks and jumps out. He takes Hicks down. Hicks gets back to his feet but Crenshaw presses him against the fence. They reset, exchange and Crenshaw presses him against the fence again. Hicks gets to his feet and knees Crenshaw in the face. Crenshaw backs off. He shoots again and they land into the fence. Foot stomp from Crenshaw. Hicks attempts a spinning back elbow. Crenshaw shoots for a double, again. Hicks defends and lands an elbow. High left round kick from Hicks. Another kick from Hicks. Hicks with a kick to the body. Hicks delivers two more kicks to end the round.

SCORECARD: Hicks 10-9

ROUND TWO Crenshaw shoots for a double and crashes into the fence. Short shot from Crenshaw before they break. Crenshaw shoots again and Hicks sprawls. Crenshaw eats a few strikes while attempting yet another takedown. Crenshaw scrambles and finally gets Hicks down. He works from full guard. Hicks is hanging on to Crenshaw, looking for a standup most likely. Hicks grabs a hold of Crenshaw's arm and damn near rips it off Rousey style!

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Jason "The Ronin" Hicks by submission (armbar) at 3:41 of round 2.

Featherweight bout: Lawson McClure (8-2) vs. Keith "Rockstar" Richardson (7-3)

ROUND ONE Richardson starts off with a high left round kick. He lands a few more kicks. McClure looks to counter. Richardson and McClure are both exchange but Richardson is getting the better of the exchanges. Richardson shoots and scores a tremendous takedown. Richardson claims his back. Richardson looks for a rear-naked choke but McClure stands up. Richardson can't get the arm under his chin so he's content to crank on his face. McClure falls to his knees but stays in the fight. Richardson continues to soften him up and get that choke. He "seals in freshness," and that's all she wrote. Boom, done!

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Keith "Rockstar" Richardson by submission (rear-naked choke) at 3:40 of round 1.

Lightweight bout: Joe Elmore (6-4) vs. Kevin Forant (2-0)

ROUND ONE Both fighters start off with a heavy exchange of punches. Forant scrambles and ends the sequence with Elmore pressed against the fence. Elmore reverses and attempts to take the back of Forant. Elmore looks to be fishing for an armbar. Forant pulls him arm free. Elmore continues to look for that armbar. He distracts with a triangle but then resumes an armbar. Forant defends and works from half guard.

SCORECARD: Elmore 10-9

ROUND TWO Forant continues to be aggressive and drives Elmore to his back. Elmore tries for a submission but Forant defends and slightly betters his position. Forant works from half guard. Elmore pushes him back to full guard. The fighters continue to battle on the ground. Elmore is not having anywhere near the success attacking from his back as he did in the first round. Forant passes to side control. Forant has run away with this round utilizing the old smother and cover method. Elmore gets to his feet with 30 seconds to go. It doesn't last as he's back on his tush.

SCORECARD: Forant 10-9

ROUND THREE Elmore starts off with a series of kicks. Forant puts him on his back. Forant keeps Elmore doubled over and pressed into the fence. Forant works from half guard. Forant is content to pepper Elmore with with light strikes. Forant postures up n guard and hammers on Elmore. Schiavello says that unless a grand piano falls on Forant, Elmore has lost this one...that line is more entertaining than this whole fight.

SCORECARD: Forant 10-9

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Kevin Forant by unanimous decision (30-27X3).

Lightweight bout: David Mays (6-3) vs. "Notorious" Nick Newell (7-0)

ROUND ONE Newell comes right after Mays. Newell locks up Mays with a front face lock. Newell rains down punishment on Mays. Mays gets to his feet but Newell resumes thrashing him. AND BOOM GOES THE DYNAMITE!!! "YOU CRAZY ONE-ARMED BASTARD!" Newell crushes Mays with a devastating knee to the mush.

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – "Notorious" Nick Newell by KO at 2:01 of round 1.

Strawweight bout: Simona Soukupova (2-1) vs. Felice "Lil Bulldog" Herrig

ROUND ONE Herrig lands a few kicks to the body but almost eats a counter right because she's dropping her hands. Herrig presses her opponent against the fence. Herrig and Soukupova exchange knees. They continue to stay clinches up and exchanging knees. Herrig attempts a throw but she's too high on the body of her opponent. Herrig grabs a high crotch and tries for a takedown. Herrig breaks off and lands a front kick. Herrig hits a left hook. They clinch again but Herrig runs across the cage into the fence. Herrig scores with a combo. Soukupova lands few hard shots to end the round.

SCORECARD: Herrig 10-9

ROUND TWO Herrig lands short but hard left hook. Herrig walks through Soukupova's kicks. Left from Soukupova. Herrig is successfully keeping Soukupova on the outside. Kick in the ribs from Herrig. Herrig continues to walk her down and score with all manner of strikes. Another left hook from Herrig. Herrig is content to score with boxing skills. Soukupova and Herrig end the round with something of a brawl.

SCORECARD: Herrig 10-9

ROUND THREE The ladies resume their back and forth kickboxing match. Soukupova clinches up, lands an elbow and releases. Soukupova is still coming forward, being aggressive but Herrig makes her pay each time. The ladies continue to trade pretty evenly. Left hook from Herrig. Soukupova rushes forward and presses Herrig against the fence. She lands a few knees before having the position reversed. Herrig circles out. They clinch up again to end the round.

SCORECARD: Herrig 10-9

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Felice "Lil Bulldog" Herrig by unanimous decision (30-27X2, 29-28).

XFC MAIN EVENT


Welterweight bout: Nicolae Cury (6-4) vs. Roger "The Leprechaun" Carroll (11-5)

ROUND ONE Both fighters throw a series of high kicks. Carroll ends up on his back. Cury rains down some hammerfists. Carroll tries for knee bar but lets it go. Cury lets Carroll up. They clinch up and Cury throws Carroll to the ground. Cury lands in mount but he can't hold him there. Cury slams him again. Cury works from full guard. Cury stands up in guard. Cury nails him with some hammerfists but Carroll gets the ankle lock. Carroll has Cury's leg locked up tight. Carroll is bleeding from the eye. Cury ends the round in guard.

SCORECARD: Cury 10-9

ROUND TWO Cury sticks that jab right in Carroll's eye. Carroll tries for a single. He eats elbows for his trouble. Carroll gets the high crotch takedown. Cury does a good job of shutting down Carroll's offense from top position. Carroll attempts to pass the guard. Carroll eventually does get to full mount. Cury reverses and attempts a leg submission. Carroll reverses back. Carroll takes his back. Carroll ends the round in the RNC position.

SCORECARD: Carroll 10-9

ROUND THREE Carroll presses forward and looks for the high crotch again. Cury gets a nice throw and puts Carroll on his back. Cury works from full guard. Cury mounts Carroll. Cury transitions and locks up a triangle. Carroll stacks up Cury and indicates he's not out yet. Carroll slips his head out. Carroll stands up and takes Cury down. Cury elbows him in the side.

SCORECARD: Cury 10-9

OFFICIAL RESULT: WINNER – Nicolae Cury by unanimous decision (29-28X3) .
